8U MANDATORY Player Evaluation

One of AYSO's philosophies is BALANCED TEAMS. This philosophy is very important because it promotes a fair and competitive experience while ensuring everyone has fun. No one likes to see a one-sided game that doesn’t benefit either team. Creating a balanced team is a challenging process. In order to ensure balanced teams we first need to know the players. This is why a successful player evaluation is critical.

Both new and returning players must be evaluated before each Fall season.

For evaluations your child is REQUIRED to wear soccer cleats and shin guards. It is recommended that you arrive 10 minutes before scheduled evaluation time.

Your child's participation in the evaluation process is very important. Please note, if your child does not participate in this evaluation process, they may not be placed on a team to play in the upcoming Fall season due to high demand and limited number of available coaches. Parents who coach and referee will be given priority assignment for their child. If you are interested in being a coach or a referee, please contact one of the many board members during the evaluations and let us know if you are interested in volunteering in the upcoming Fall season. We also recommend all current and future coaches and assistant coaches to be a part of the evaluation panel. Please email [email protected] if you are interested.

Evaluation #1:
Wednesday, August 14, 2018
6-7:30 pm

Evaluation #2:
Thursday, August, 15, 2018
6-7:30 pm
